Περιγραφή Μαθήματος

This Advanced English module for second-year Business Administration and Tourism students explores key economic and business concepts focusing on globalization, international organizations, economic policies, and labor rights while reinforcing grammar and communication skills. Students will examine the history and different facets of globalization, including its impact on trade, technology, and emerging markets, alongside the role of major international organizations such as the IMF, World Bank, WTO, and EU in shaping economic policies. Discussions on safety legislation and employees' rights will highlight workplace regulations, corporate responsibility, and labor unions within the context of globalization. Economic growth and GDP analysis will cover key financial crises in recent history, emphasizing the role of central banks and monetary policies. In the principles of English for Specific Purposes, Grammar will be integrated with advanced structures relevant to business communication,  enabling students to refine their English skills while developing a deeper understanding of global business practices.
